How to build a website with AI on Lovable: the process our agency uses

A real agency walkthrough for building a website with AI on Lovable. From the first prompt to publishing on a custom domain, plus prompt tips and beginner mistakes we already paid for.

This piece is written by the team that built its own agency website on Lovable. The madsacelerador.com you are reading, every paid traffic pillar, the entire AI hub, the diagnosis quiz with a database: all built there. On top of that, we run dozens of client landing pages taking Google and Meta ad traffic. The process below is exactly what our agency uses, from the first prompt to publishing on a custom domain.

The process in 6 steps

Let us walk through it as if it were the first campaign landing page for an aesthetics clinic in Limeira, with the goal of booking evaluations by WhatsApp. Same process works for a corporate site or an app with a database.

1. A strong initial prompt

The first prompt drives 80% of the outcome. Do not ask for "a nice site". Describe the business in 3 lines, who the audience is, what the single goal of the page is, which sections it should have, and paste 1 or 2 real references. Real example we use:

Landing page for an aesthetics clinic in Limeira, product is facial harmonization, audience is women 30 to 55, warm and serious tone, goal is booking evaluations by WhatsApp. Sections: hero with photo, benefits in 3 bullets, social proof with Reels, procedure step by step, FAQ, short form (name, WhatsApp, procedure of interest) that sends to WhatsApp. Visual reference: the Anthropic website.

Generic prompt produces generic site. Specific prompt produces a solid base to iterate on.

2. Let AI generate the first version

In seconds you have a navigable first version. It will be 70% done and 30% crooked. That is normal. Do not fix anything until you have seen the whole thing.

3. Iterate by conversation, one thing at a time

This is where most people fail. Do not ask for 10 fixes in one prompt. Go one at a time, from biggest to smallest:

  • "The hero is weak, enlarge the headline and add a badge that says +500 patients treated."
  • "Replace the placeholder image with a slot for a real photo, with a caption below."
  • "Change the form to send directly to WhatsApp (19) 99707-6280 with a ready message."

One task per prompt prevents cascading bugs and keeps you in control.

4. Wire the form and the pixel

A pretty page without tracking is money left on the sidewalk. Ask explicitly:

  • Add Meta Pixel with a Lead event on form submit.
  • Add Google Tag with a conversion tied to the same event.
  • Save the lead into a spreadsheet (Google Sheets) or a simple database.

You do not need to know where each script goes. The AI does. You just provide the IDs when asked.

5. Publish on a custom domain

Lovable gives you a public URL in seconds. To connect a company domain, point DNS following the platform instructions. A landing page can go live on a subdomain like clinic.yourcompany.com without touching the main site.

6. Review on mobile before running ads

More than 80% of paid traffic in Brazil arrives on mobile. Open the landing on your own phone, on mobile data, and go through everything. If the form does not open cleanly, you just bought leads that will never reach you.

Prompt tips that pay off on Lovable

  1. Start with the goal, not the layout. "I want this page to generate booked evaluations" beats "I want a modern site".
  2. Describe the persona in one sentence. Who reads, what they feel, what they decide.
  3. References beat vague styles. "Aesthetic like the Anthropic site" is a clear brief. "Modern and clean" is subjective.
  4. Ask for real code, not mocks. Working form, WhatsApp integration, pixel event. Saves you from rebuilding later.
  5. Lock in what is good. Say: "do not touch this section, move to the next one". Prevents regressions.
  6. Ask for accessibility. Contrast, image alt, H1 and H2 hierarchy. AI does it by default when you remind it.

Beginner mistakes we already paid for you

  • Cramming everything into one giant prompt. Produces a bug-ridden site. Split it up.
  • Blindly trusting what the AI generates. Always review text, numbers, phone, links.
  • Not testing the form before running ads. Fill it in yourself, get the WhatsApp message, confirm the pixel event.
  • Ignoring technical SEO. Ask for title, description, canonical, Open Graph, JSON-LD per route. Lovable does it when you remember.
  • Leaving everything on one page. Services, about, contact: each is a route. Wins on SEO and social share.

The madsacelerador.com case

This site is the showroom of the method. It was built on Lovable, with Claude as writing assistant for the pillars, and Lovable itself generated the SEO, the dynamic sitemap, the robots.txt letting AI bots in, and the llms.txt. Every route has title, description, canonical, Open Graph and JSON-LD via a central helper. It is dogfooding: we use on our site what we sell.

If you want to see the product working before you decide, you already are. Every page is a sample of what can be built.

When Lovable fits, when a developer does

Lovable is a great fit for corporate sites, campaign landing pages, qualification forms and simple apps with a database. It does not replace a senior engineering team for complex products. For 90% of what a company at 40k+ per month needs, it is enough.

When to bring in our agency

When the landing is part of a broader paid traffic and AI strategy, it makes sense for the agency to handle briefing through ad launch. Our work starts before the page: free diagnosis, briefing, channel choice (Google, Meta, TikTok), landing on Lovable, pixel, WhatsApp integration, campaign live and weekly optimization.

If you want to learn and do it yourself, Lovable is enough. If you want the outcome without going through all this, start with the diagnosis.
